Having moved recently to Ontario, Canada from London, England Rachel is choosing to honor her passion for live music and talent by introducing a live music show (The SPOT) to new talent on the outskirts of Toronto.

Rachel has had the great opportunity to meet and work alongside some of the UK's highest profile entertainers plus international stars which gave her a glimpse of what it really meant to be behind the scenes.

"I never forget the feeling I had on the actual day of the event. Seeing it all come to life. Liaising with artist managers and having the artist there on the day. The energy, the adrenaline. I want to feel that in everything I do".

The aim of The SPOT is to have a live music show presenting new talent, first. Originally aimed at giving a home to the underdogs of the hip-hop culture industry to now welcoming all creatives in a safe space for social networking with Influencers of all kinds (face-to-face).

The SPOT was inspired by the movie 8 Mile.  As a fan of songwriting, sound and events production plus having built a reputation for throwing some of the best parties in London Rachel says

"I wanted to start a local event where I could bump my head to new conscious, feel good music that people loved and appreciated with positive messages in an environment that had a nostalgic feel to it".

Despite having worked in events management, a hang out spot like this was missing despite living bang in the hub of creativity and nightlife. The SPOT saw its birth in East London at a low-key, low roof hideout in the heart of London, Hackney in 2014.

With a limited network of key industry people, The SPOT aims to make its comeback on new land, bigger and better.
